Perhaps your remember Sam Chu. He's one of the founding members of the Hong Kong Vintage Bicycle Club. The club promotes the love of older velocipedes, with a special emphasis on roadsters. Sam of course has a very special, double-bar Hercules work bike.
The lovely bride to be seems to enjoy the concept as well.
Now here is a great photo with a lot going on!. Sam and his fiance, of course, are dodging a few rain drops, while the Herculese rear wheel peeks in. You may notice the photographer squatting in the doorway in the back. So really this is a picture of a picture!
Sam proudly displays his bike broadside. We can see the fork trusses, dyno on the rear wheel, with lights, WHITE grips and Sturmey Archer 3 speed.
We wish the new Mr. and Mrs. Chu all the best on their fantastic ride through life together!
Thanks Jeff. Anyway, this is my first English bicycle before I found the vintage cycling club. In Hong Kong, the Hercules Bicycles are the famous working bicycle brand name, and which makes me to find more vintage bicycle lovers in Hong Kong through the introduction of this bicycle. This bicycle is memorable for me.

Very stylish indeed! I'm a but puzzled as to the pedals though... they appear to be "rat trap" units? Could very well be original, I've just never seen that on a Roadster before. Best of luck and good fortune to the newlyweds. Any lady that would want to have the bicycle featured in her wedding pictures is a treasure!

Hey, recently I've chanced upon an extremely rare Torch Brand (火炬牌)roadster from the cultural revolution, would be great if you could resarch on it and place it into your collections! Im studying in Beijing and has been as fascinated as you are with regards to vintage chinese bicycles! Should you be in Beijing, let's meet up for a drink and talk about these (:
